This affordable electric vehicle launched for just Rs 3 lakh, will give a driving range of 200Km in a single charge
TI Clean Mobility (TCM), a subsidiary of Murugappa Group firm Tube Investments of India (TII), today entered the electric vehicle space. The company today launched its first electric three-wheeler auto Montra Electric 3W in Chennai. The Montra Electric 3W range has been priced between Rs 3.02 – Rs 3.42 lakh (ex-showroom post-subsidy). The vehicle will be available at over 100 dealerships across the country.
According to the information shared by the company, it has the best 10 kWh battery pack in the segment, which gives a driving range of up to 197 km (ARAI certified) on a single charge. Apart from this, this electric auto offers a peak torque of 60 Nm and a top speed of 55 kmph. It is also equipped with park assist as well as multiple drive modes for better economy.
